In 2006 the British Army Air Corps deployed their AugustaWestlands AH-64 Mk1 Longbow Apaches on combat operations
to Afghanistan for the first time.  This Longbow has just been cleared from the ground elements to engage enemy forces in
and around a compound situated in the Helmand Province.  To gain better accuracy and precision, the pilots put the aircraft
in a diving profile and fire off anti-personnel flechette rockets at the hostile forces pinning down friendly ISAF (International
Security Assistance Forces) soldiers.
