| A pair of P-51D Mustangs flies over Allied troops moving across the European countryside during autumn 1944. These two Mustangs were assigned to the 78th Fighter Group, part of the renowned ‘Mighty Eighth’ Air Force. They were based out of Duxford, England, and therefore were known as the ‘Duxford Eagles.’ |
